The Texas Department of State Health Services provides a state program for Texas Women, Infants, and Children called (WIC) helps families talk about healthy goals, answers questions about good nutrition, personal contact with experts and extra benefits, and helps you find other health-care services. WIC benefits are for pregnant women, breastfeeding women, women who had a baby within the last six months, infants, and children up to their 5th birthday.
